Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

The Wentworth Falls P&C (Parents and Citizens Association) is the heart of our school community! We’re a team of parents, carers, and staff who work together to support our students, strengthen school spirit, and make a positive difference. From fundraising and events to helping shape school decisions, the P&C is a great way to get involved, connect with others, and have your voice heard. Whether you can spare a little time or a lot, everyone is welcome—your energy and ideas are always valued!

P&C meetings

The P&C meets on the third Monday of the month (excluding public holidays and school holidays) at 6.30pm at The Grandview Hotel Wentworth Falls. The P&C AGM (Annual General Meeting) is held in March.

P&C Events

Listed below are events/fundraisers that the P&C coordinates throughout the school year. Many will be the same each year but new events will be published on Sentral or Facebook every term.

Look out for messages on Sentral for more information about the individual events when they are on. The P&C are very active in coordinating and organising various events for fundraising for the school.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events

Visit or email our office to complete a digital declaration. The DoE has created a digital screening process, accurately collecting and storing data will help to keep children safe. The best news, you only have to complete it once.
